- Plug the bootable installer into a compatible Mac.
- Use Startup Manager or Startup Disk preferences to select the bootable installer as the startup disk, then start up from it. Your Mac will start up to macOS Recovery.

How old is your Mac? If less then 2 years old you can use the Online Internet Recovery system to reinstall OS X on it.
If more then 2 years old and you installed Lion or Mt Lion then you may still have the Recovery HD partition. But then if you installed Windows on it natively, Not using Boot Camp, then you more then likely wiped out the Recovery HD partition and or even if it is still on the drive it may not work.

At the screen that loads use Disk Utility to Repartition the drive as One partition formatted Mac Extended (Journaled) with a Partition Table of GUID. Once that is done exit DU and select Reinstall Mac OS X.
